This Steal requires just a tad bit of elbow grease but it’s totally worth it! I’ve been in love with the CB2 Judy Bust but the price was a budget Bust-er so in my typical fashion, I schemed of ways to knock it off. While this Wayfair find is a smaller size, it’s price point is fabulous. I used Rustoleum Black Lacquer spray paint to cover this classic bust in some edgy, high-shine black paint.
Tip for spray painting this gal: I started by painting her upside-down so I could get the paint in all of the nooks-and-crannies and underside of nose and hair without having overspray. I let the upside-down coat dry and then painted 3 more coats. I originally planned to use a clear Lacquer spray paint coat at the end, but the Rustoleum Black Lacquer had a nice enough finish so I decided to stop while I was on top.
