I love all things Chinoiserie and I was intent on incorporating a large scale Chinoiserie print in my house but the price for these classic prints can be astronomical, and that’s not even considering the antique painted silk versions. Fortunately, there are a ton of options to have this high class art without spending a fortune! Check out my roundup of many Steals below.
Keep in mind, these Steals are for the print only so you would need to have them framed which, depending on your frame, will probably add a couple hundred dollars to the total art cost. When it comes to framing art, my favorite resources are Michaels, Frame It Easy and Frame Bridge. For the most economical approach, these prints could be purchased in the canvas version.
In my house, I purchased the Havenview Mural from Anthropologie and applied it in three sections and added trim molding to emulate framed panels.
